Welcome to Cattery of Zucci Rucci, a small, dedicated cattery specializing in British Shorthair (BSH) and British Longhair (BLH) cats. Based in Bochum, Germany, our cattery is built on a deep love for cats and a commitment to ethical, responsible breeding.
My name is Rama, and my husband, Ziad, and I share a lifelong passion for cats. Growing up in the GCC, I was always surrounded by cats—whether feeding stray kittens with my younger sister or caring for those in my grandmother’s garden. Though my mother never allowed pets at home, she surprised us in 2015 by bringing home our first cat, Chloe, who became an irreplaceable part of our lives.
In 2021, I moved to Germany to marry my long-time love, Ziad. Leaving Chloe behind was heartbreaking, but it also ignited my desire to start a cattery of my own. With Ziad’s unwavering support, we founded Cattery of Zucci Rucci, named after the initials of our names—“Z” for Ziad (Zucci) and “R” for Rama (Rucci).
Our cats are more than just breeding queens; they are beloved members of our family, raised with love, care, and the highest standards of health and well-being. In 2022, we officially registered our cattery with CatManiac.ev, affiliated with the World Cat Federation (WCF). To further our knowledge and commitment to excellence, we completed specialized courses in cat breeding and genetics in 2024.
