Welcome to Cattery of Zucci Rucci
Nestled in Bochum, Germany, Cattery of Zucci Rucci is a small, passionate cattery dedicated to British Shorthair (BSH) and British Longhair (BLH) cats. Our foundation is simple: a deep love for cats and a commitment to ethical, responsible breeding.
My name is Rama, and alongside my husband, Ziad, I have nurtured a lifelong passion for feline companions. Growing up in the GCC, cats were always part of my world—whether feeding stray kittens with my younger sister or caring for those in my grandmother’s garden. Although our home didn’t allow pets, a delightful surprise came in 2015 when my mother brought home our first cat, Chloe, who quickly became a beloved member of our family.
In 2021, I moved to Germany to marry Ziad. Leaving Chloe behind was bittersweet, but it sparked a dream: to create a cattery of our own. With Ziad’s unwavering support, we founded Cattery of Zucci Rucci, a name inspired by the initials of our names—“Z” for Ziad (Zucci) and “R” for Rama (Rucci).
Our cats are far more than breeding queens—they are cherished family members, raised with love, attention, and the highest standards of health and well-being. In 2022, we proudly registered our cattery with CatManiac.ev, affiliated with the World Cat Federation (WCF). To continually improve our expertise, we completed advanced courses in cat breeding and genetics in 2024.
